The Event Recorder (ER) is an onboard device designed to record train operational and performance data for legal, judicial, and technical analysis purposes. The data is stored in non-volatile EEPROM or Flash memory using a FIFO (First In, First Out) continuous overwrite system.
In addition to its use in accident and incident investigations, the ER allows for monitoring the overall condition of the train over extended periods. Its key functions include calculating the distance traveled and the vehicle's actual speed.
SEPSAMEDHA offers three models of event recorders, adapted to different operational needs and levels of technical requirements of our clients.
